SARAH's Way Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to reducing the impact of poverty and climate change among underserved youth and families. Our projected community center will be fully self-sufficient with an eco-conscious design, as the foundational hub of enriching programs which promote overall wellness and stability for a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle.
SARAH's Way Foundation, Inc. honors the late Miss Sarah Henry by embodying the principles of Service, Awareness, Restoration, Assessment, and Honesty. SARAH’s core values are Service, Faith, and Community Unity. Our programs will be designed to assist Prince William County’s underserved families and formerly incarcerated individuals in developing a collective plan for family wellness, an educational and career path for stability, tools for self-sufficiency, and a sustainable lifestyle that promotes achieving their collective family goals.
SARAH will create a space where employees and stakeholders experience an inclusive and diverse environment that prioritizes work to life balance, while ensuring they have adequate training and support to lead a fulfilling career in the nonprofit sector. Every Board Member and employee will be supported through non-denominational faith, professional guidance, positive encouragement, consistent engagement, and regular incentives. Every team member shall have a voice and an appreciated role of contribution at The SARAH’s Way Foundation.
